I am a psychotherapist (UKCP trainee), currently studying for a five-year Master’s in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University. My practice is informed by a deep curiosity about human experiences and the ways in which we navigate life’s complexities.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a senior economist at the Bank of England and as an educator in both secondary and university settings. While my career focused on analysis and problem-solving, I was always drawn to the human stories behind the numbers—the unseen struggles, aspirations, and turning points in people’s lives.
My personal journey has deeply influenced my approach to therapy. Living with chronic back pain and navigating personal challenges in a foreign country, where the language and culture were unfamiliar, transformed my curiosity into a profound desire to support others in their own life journeys. This realisation led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy, with a focus on a creative, relational and embodied approach.
